  This game is bad I used to have this game on my iPad I redownloaded it on my phone I tried big pigeon it said to allow microphone I taped allow then I clicked it again I went to big pigeon and when I pressed the button to record my voice it went back to the menu I tried again the same thing happened I was really mad cause I really wanted to play I tried one more time but it still did the same thing I was so mad at that time I wanted to punch the frickin bus driver I was like okay I think it’s time to delete this I knew I could do egg and chick but those were boring I only liked big pigeon so I deleted it and I was very sad I really wanted to I still remember when it worked I loved this game so much but for now it’s dead to me edit:okay I downloaded it again and it did the Same thing I don’t know if it’s my phone the game or anything a deleted and redownloaded the app like a million times and one time they button turned red but I couldn’t stop it for being red I deleted the game and re downloaded it once again and it did not do the same thing and I was so mad I just wish it worked.

  I loved reading these books when I was in third grade and when I found out about this I had to check it out,This app is really cute I like how it’s about the “pigeon and bus” book part but my favorite pigeon book is “don’t let the pigeon eat the cookie” I think it was something like that,No suggestions I just wanna say it’s a good app for all ages 😁

• Great idea but needs more content

  My two kids (and I!) love the Pigeon books and cartoons. This is a great idea for an app; basically, your kid records his/her voice and it plays a story like a mad lib with whatever topics they choose. The problem is there’s only one story, and it gets old pretty quickly. The entirety of app is that story and a single drawing lesson from Mo Willems. While I’m very happy this has a single price and no in-app purchases, and I like supporting the author, for six bucks I hoped for more content.

  My kids are heartbroken. The whole reason they begged me to buy this app was to write stories with Mo...but when the Bus Driver asks for their name (to begin the game) it doesn’t hear them. I couldn’t even get him to hear me, and there is no option to type your name in...so it won’t allow them to play. Siri hears us just fine! What a waste of money. Big fans of Mo, but not this app. 🙁

  To every Karen out there that has a problem, don’t just 1-star. Get help from me. In this review, I will cover two common problems with this app.If the microphone doesn’t work and/or the bus driver can’t hear you, reinstall the app and allow microphone permissions in Settings -> Don’t Let The Pigeon Run This App! and turn on Microphone. If the bus driver still can’t hear you, get closer to any of the speaker grills on the device or use EarPods that have a built-in microphone.If the app doesn’t start, your iPad has insufficient CPU or RAM power to run the app. Get another iPad with at least 1 gigabyte of RAM (for example, iPad Air 1 or newer, or iPad Mini 3 or newer) and with iOS 9.3 or later from somewhere and the problem is fixed.There. Now everybody gets to respect the drip. Also, if this review helped, make sure to rate this as helpful! ;)

  This app is my fav!!! and the books are also good, too. when i got this app, i was like “OMG OMG OMG!!!”. when i got it, i went STRAIGHT to big pigeon and made my 1st story. i laughed so hard!!! then i drew the pigeon and i did a great job doing it. that’s all i could say.

  This app is no longer supported and much of the functions won’t work on newer devices especially the iPhone iPad etc. it’s a little pricey for some thing that doesn’t do much!

  This app does not record. It will ask my daughter to say something like what is your favorite snack.. and it would not recognize that she was saying something. This app was not expensive but for a $5 app, you would think it would run properly. I have downloaded it several times. Uninstalling several times and still doesn’t work. I am disappointed because my daughter had almost read every book from the Pigeon series.

Then we saw at the back that you can read more books and even download an app, so I downloaded an app because my little one wants to try it. But it DOESN'T WORK. I payed 5.99 for this app?   I am seven and it could use more choices in the storyline, but I have fun drawing. I also like hearing my voice in the story and using my own words. It could be cheaper tho!My son used his own money for this as I think it’s WAY to expensive for what it is, but he has fun with it.

  First off, this game is great. I got it for my sister and she loves it. I have no complaints, but one suggestion. For the voice recording, I find it cute but kind of annoying that the Pigeon always says “I have a frog in my throat.” I think the app should kind of make your voice sound like the Pigeon’s. I know this is complained about often, but THE BUS DRIVER NEEDS A SKIP BUTTON!!! I listen to him OVER and OVER and it also gets annoying!I know the app won’t have further updates, but I just wanted to point this out in case minds are changed. Other than that, the game is fantastic. My sister and I put all sorts of wacky things into the stories. The game is awesome and it deserves five stars. If you’re reading this, please don’t listen to the bad reviews. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  I almost didn’t let my daughter get this app because of the issues noted. But I found a fix! Unlike other apps, this doesn’t automatically ask you for permission to use the microphone. You have to download the app then go in to your phone settings—privacy—microphone and then click for the app to have access to the microphone. She has enjoyed the interactive nature of the app!

  The bus driver asks what food my kid likes. He presses the button. The bus driver fails to recognize anything. My child cries and demands tv. Can't believe I paid money for this.

  As a lot of reviews say, this app needs updates. I was completely able to play the game on many different IPad versions. I enjoyed the game but it lacked well, extras. It is made for young kids after all. (Not saying adults or any age for that matter can't get the game and play it.) My opinion is that this game is good, BUT IT NEEDS AT LEASET ONE UPDATE.   I’ve had this game for a while now and I say that it’s worth the purchase!Sure, the game is fun, but after a while, you get tired of the same thing over and over and over... ect. ect. ect., so, to make the game have more stuff to do, you should have the pigeon and the duckling act out the actual stories.Thank you for reading my review and please consider my suggestion.
